Additionally, we extend a helping hand through temporary housing, providing immediate shelter and support for displaced or homeless veterans. Understanding the importance of a smooth transition, our organization also offers comprehensive assistance to facilitate the move from our campus to sustainable offsite housing. It’s our commitment to ensuring that veterans not only find a home within our walls but also receive the support needed to secure a lasting and sustainable living arrangement beyond our campus.
Work Readiness Training
At Kingdom Housing, we are dedicated to comprehensive housing assistance, extending beyond homes to empower veterans. Our unique approach includes job training for veterans, enhancing skills and fostering independence. We provide referrals to educational and trade resources for continuous learning, ensuring veterans have access to opportunities for personal and professional growth. Our commitment extends to job search and resume assistance, guiding veterans towards fulfilling employment. Recognizing the importance of a polished first impression, our “Dress for Success” program offers clothing assistance tailored for interviews and work attire. In addition, our services encompass occupational therapist assessments, ensuring veterans receive specialized support for their individual needs on their journey to stability and success.
